Specimen Collection Kits

We have the capacity to build custom, visit specific kits, while also maintaining the flexibility of receiving kits from international central laboratories involved in global clinical trials. Working with you and taking into consideration Africa's unique environment, we ensure optimal downstream biomarker analysis. Additionally our sample collection flow documentation details the collection schedule for each biomarker sample collection.

Clinical site training on sample collection processes to maintain optimal stability is essential, especially for complex collections. Our site-specific plans train all clinical sites to be equipped with proper collection and stability protocols for sample stability and logistics. Further site support for ancillary items, such as dry ice and bulk supply kits can also be offered to ensure optimal performance of each clinical site.

Laboratory Processing

Our laboratory strives to maintain sample integrity by ensuring quick TAT upon sample receipt. We offer blood derivative processing and tissue embedding services. Our PBMC and BMMC derivative service ensures maximum viability and recovery of cells for the best data output for any downstream assay. Our facility is equipped to provide the following services:

PBMC and BMMC cryopreservation, and same-day or next-day processing in accordance with your study objectives.
Blood derivative isolation such as serum and plasma to ensure quality samples from multiple sites.
DNA/RNA extraction and quantification.
We provide tissue embedding to generate FFPE onsite and also maintain fresh frozen tissue.

Biobanking and Shipping

Our facility is equipped to provide ling and short term storage for all your biosamples and vaccines . Our shipping logistics provides transparency on inventory and tracking information when shipments are dispatched.
